Hello again!
Starting the new school year with a lot of enthusiasm and looking forward to take the students in a very special journey they will never forget. As I have been saying through the other posts, everything starts with classroom decoration! And as I promised, here are some pictures of different ideas from the very talented teachers that work with me at school.
Lets start with the bee classroom!
The second classroom has monkeys!
Monsters all around... I really like this one!
Ocean decoration!
And more!

TIME ON TASK
Ok, ok, ok...
I thought I would have time to decorate the classroom as I wanted to and make beautiful Dr. Seuss characters and colorful walls... but guess what, not enough time! I recycled old posters, cut them and made them look prettier.
There are so many things I wanted to do. A word wall, seasons, colors, days of the week... so many things to paste for a first grade classroom! But we have to keep it simple...
Here are some pictures of my classroom...

Here are some pictures of my classroom...
The window has a brown paper kind of tree LOL
it has ladybugs on it and it is not too complicated!
The animals on the alphabet wall were made with cardboard. They are a copy of the animals on the alphabet letters.
everything else is recycle posters that we cut out and paste them and VOILA!
There is a wall, which i don't have a picture i'll see when i can post one... with the different subjects decorated and with a space to paste the students work under it. :D
Hope you liked it!
That's it for now.
I'll try to take some pictures of the other teachers decoration! They are really talented!

Starting point.
So many things in such a short time!
Planning, decorating the classroom, having workshops, getting ready for a new school year and in need of new approaches and ideas to make class more interesting.
I'm going to start working with decorations for now. As you can imagine, teachers are interior designers, technicians, psychologist, doctors, writers, mathematicians, scientists, and of course... magicians! With little material we can create a world in the classroom. That's my starting point for now... how am I going to do that?
There are so many ideas but I just don't feel like those ideas are what I want for my new class...
Decoration of the space and solar system, animals, the sea, characters from movies, go green, a garden... The classroom can be decorated in so many different ways, but I just don't get my perfect idea.
Though i have to say i have an idea... If you read my other blog, named Thoughts, you would know that I went to Orlando, yes... I have to mention it... It was a once in a lifetime experience! But that's not the point... When I was there I went to Disney and one of the attractions was about Dr. Seuss. I LOVE IT, and I think I'm going to use it as an inspiration and it will be my theme for this year. I love the cat in the hat, Horton, The who, Thing one and Thing two... I just loved that part of the park. And it gave me an idea for my classroom... I will be posting pictures, once I start with it.
So keep tune to see how I'll do it... and if there are any suggestions they are WELCOME!
